Custom Comm Rose

Kerr was asking how do I make the chara's say sentances. It'l be easier and hopefully helpful to do it on here mate

Right, Ive found that editing the Radialmenu.txt and binding a key to each custom one in the autoexec.cfg in the L4D directory, similar to the 2 defaults ones already in place. You can make them say whatever sentance is already in the game. These are very helpful e,g, making a chara shout out "this way!" or "behind us". There are also some of the funny ones like making zoey say "Yeah im ready to bounce!"

Including the games default comm rose I have now 4 universal com rose's for each character and 2 unique com roses only for that character. I'm in progress of back these up as the time spent on these should and il post the custom cfg.txt on here to download and easy for anyone to put onto their own game. For anyone like me who has had the game since it's release it refreshes the game and makes it more enjoyable.

I hate the gun sounds on l4d so when it was first released I dwnloaded some replacements to try. When I tried them every 1 out of 3 times the sound is active it makes this ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ loud static noise. Tried it acouple of weeks ago and its the same. Apparently its somthing to do with the directory and can't be solved. Il get round to posting those custom comm roses sometime this week for you all to try out.

I've prepared the line of folders to save you time so just
Drag "steam" folder into:
C:\Program Files\
and click yes to replace.

Q = Most useful and important communications e.g warnings
Z = Second most useful communications
F1= Louis's Shouts
F2= Zoey's Shouts
F3= Bill's Shouts
F4= Francis's Shouts
F5= Francis's Shouts 2nd

To change the keys just open "autoexec.cfg" located:
C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead\Left4Dead\cfg\
The advantage of this is too bridge the gap between
languages and promote team efforts.
